As we approach 2026, we have a unique opportunity to hit the reset button, both personally and professionally. The start of a new year is a perfect time to reflect, set intentions and take meaningful steps toward feeling your best — physically, mentally and professionally. At USLI, we want to help you make this a year full of growth, especially when it comes to prioritizing your wellness and professional development.

That’s why I’m excited to share two ways you can start 2026 by investing in yourself: our annual Renewed You wellness challenge and USLI University learning programs that can help you shape your individual development plan for the year ahead.

This year marks the 15th anniversary of Renewed You, a 14-week wellness program that has helped thousands of participants take steps toward becoming the best version of themselves. Over the years, our team of fitness specialists has refined and improved the challenge based on your feedback, adding new workouts and resources to help engage and motivate you and your office.

This is not just a fitness challenge. This is a program for anyone of any ability who wants to improve their health. The challenge will begin on Monday, January 12, and this year’s theme is Live With Purpose. Our appointed customers who complete the challenge will be entered into a drawing to win a grand prize of a $2,000 USD American Express gift card. I encourage you to register and invite your friends and family to participate as well.

Just as wellness requires a commitment to focusing on yourself, so does professional development. This year, thousands of you interacted with our USLI University courses and degree programs on the topics of sales, leadership, professional development and insurance training. These courses are available to you, our valued customers, at no cost.

As you look ahead to 2026, remember that our training programs can be used to create customized development plans for a variety of individuals: new leaders, seasoned salespeople, new hires and more. Through ULearn, our learning management system, you can easily track your progress as well. If you lead a team, you can also track their activity and growth, which can make it easier to have ongoing conversations about development throughout the year. If you would like help creating an individual development plan, please reach out to our team at [email protected].

As you step into the new year, remember: The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago — the second best time is now. The effort you put in to care for your health and your development today can create meaningful change over time. Let’s enter 2026 energized and ready to invest in ourselves.

Warm regards,

Tom
