Each year, as October approaches, we prepare to come together to celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month and support those impacted by a breast cancer diagnosis. This year, I am honored to share that we will once again be hosting our October Together initiative benefiting Breastcancer.org.

For over two decades, Breastcancer.org has helped 222 million people worldwide to obtain the most up-to-date information about breast cancer and breast health. Additionally, Breastcancer.org’s online discussion board serves over 260,000 people, creating a community among those affected by the disease.

Since 2007, you’ve helped us raise more than $2.5 million for Breastcancer.org. These funds have allowed the nonprofit to improve the expert medical information and support they provide to the many people who are diagnosed with breast cancer, their loved ones and those at risk. We greatly appreciate your involvement and support over the years.

But as breast cancer continues to impact millions of people, Breastcancer.org’s work is not finished — and neither is ours.

I invite you to start exploring this year’s highly anticipated October Together events. As in years past, we will be hosting three online auctions next month, with each auction featuring sought-after items including the latest tech, designer merchandise, sports tickets, vacations and more. If you or your office is interested in donating items to be featured in our auctions, please contact our team at [email protected].

We will also host a 5K, jewelry and pink gift sales, our Pink Out Your Pet contest, an exclusive presentation with Dr. Marisa Weiss, founder and Chief Medical Officer of Breastcancer.org and Director of Breast Radiation Oncology at Lankenau Medical Center, and more. Read our latest Outreach article to browse full descriptions of this year’s lineup.

Finally, in October, USLI and Devon Park Specialty will be donating 1% of all new business premium to Breastcancer.org as part of our 1 Month, 1 Percent, 1 Fight initiative. With each policy you sell, you’re making a difference in the lives of those affected by breast cancer all over the world.

A breast cancer diagnosis can lead to some of the most difficult moments in a person’s life. But when we unite for this important cause, we can create a sense of community and support. Together, we can make a true difference.

I hope you’ll spend October Together with us in the fight against breast cancer.

Warm regards,
