Ahead of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I’m excited to let you know that we will once again be donating 1% of all new business premium to Breastcancer.org during the month of October. With each policy you sell, you’re making a real difference in the lives of those affected by breast cancer all over the world.
In addition, I invite you to join us for our annual October Together initiative next month. The proceeds from all events and fundraisers directly support Breastcancer.org in their mission to provide up-to-date medical information and resources that help people make the best decisions for their treatment and care.
I’m proud to say that together with you, our valued customers, we have raised more than $3 million for Breastcancer.org since 2007. As that number continues to grow, we are reminded of the lives we’ve been able to touch with those funds. Because of your involvement and support, Breastcancer.org has been able to expand its programs and remain committed to being a trusted resource and a community for those impacted by breast cancer.
As part of our October Together lineup, we’re very excited to have Dr. Marisa Weiss, founder and Chief Medical Officer of Breastcancer.org, and Director of Breast Radiation Oncology and Director of Breast Health Outreach at Lankenau Medical Center, facilitate a special presentation just for USLI, our customers, friends and family members. We hope you will join us on Thursday, October 17 for this important discussion on generational health and breast health.
As in years past, we will also be hosting three online auctions next month, with each auction featuring sought-after items including the latest tech, designer merchandise, sports tickets, vacations and more. If you or your office is interested in donating items to be featured in our auctions, please contact our team at [email protected]. For a full lineup of our other October events, please visit our website.
As we get ready for a month of fun and giving back, let’s also remember those who may feel isolated or overwhelmed because of a breast cancer diagnosis and how important it is to create a supportive and caring community. When we work together and take care of each other, we can make a difference.
I hope you’ll spend October Together with us in the fight against breast cancer.
Warm regards,
