I’m excited to announce that we will be running the October Together — Stronger Together initiative benefiting Breastcancer.org again this year, which aims to bring all of us together, both near and far, for a great cause.
Since 2000, Breastcancer.org has been a source of strength, courage and knowledge for those impacted by a breast cancer diagnosis, and they’ve done incredible work across the globe. Further, as a digital resource, Breastcancer.org is available for everyone, anywhere and at any time. Their mission is to help people make sense of the complex medical and personal information about breast health and breast cancer so they can make the best decisions for their lives.
When you participate in any of our events this October, you are directly supporting Breastcancer.org as they work to provide trusted resources and a sense of community to people worldwide.
We greatly appreciate your involvement and support over the years, and it’s clear that October Together has become so highly anticipated by many of you. We can’t wait to share more details about the upcoming events, so stay tuned for an email coming soon.
In the meantime, we are still accepting donations for our online auctions until September 9. The three auctions will be held October 12-14, 19-21 and 26-28 and will have various themes like tech items, designer merchandise, sports tickets and more. If you or your office is interested in donating, please contact our team at [email protected].
We will also host a 5K, a jewelry and pink gift set sale, a yoga workshop and our Pink Out Your Pet contest. All of these events are being offered virtually on our October Together website so you can participate from where you are, and we encourage you to invite your friends and family to get involved as well.
We’re also excited to offer an exclusive presentation by Dr. Marisa Weiss, founder and Chief Medical Officer of Breastcancer.org and Director of Breast Radiation Oncology at Lankenau Medical Center, on October 12 at 1 p.m. Eastern time. I invite all of you to register for this session and join Dr. Weiss for Know Your Risk. She will discuss up-to-date information about breast cancer with strategies to decrease your risk and take charge of your health. She’ll also share how the new Breastcancer.org is helping to support the future of patient-centered care.
Finally, please remember that we donate 1% of all new business premium to Breastcancer.org during October as part of our 1 Month, 1 Percent, 1 Fight initiative. With each policy you sell, you’re making a real difference in the lives of those affected by breast cancer all over the world.
A breast cancer diagnosis can create some of the hardest moments of a person’s life, but when we come together, we can create a sense of community and support. I hope you’ll join us in the fight against breast cancer. Remember — we’re stronger together.
Warm regards,
