Surge in Coverage Needs for Holiday Entertainment
As the weather starts to cool and fall creeps in, the holiday season is right around the corner. For many, the holidays represent a busy season for their side-jobs, but for others, like Santa characters, the season may be their primary source of revenue. According to MarketWatch.com, some Santa characters are able to generate as much as $80,000 annually for just two months of work. This increase in activity and revenue increases exposure.
To help protect all those Santa characters who are out spreading holiday cheer, USLI’s Games and Entertainment product includes coverage for holiday characters as well as many other entertainers who see an uptick in activity around this time of year. Our diverse appetite includes an extensive list of entertainers such as: DJs, musicians, psychics, magicians, plate spinners and trivia hosts.
Perhaps one of the bigger surprises around the holidays is the surge of interest in escape rooms. According to Google trends, the search term “escape room,” which tripled in the number of searches from 2015 to 2017, sees huge spikes around Christmas time presumably from the quest for family time during the holidays.
Escape rooms are just one of the many amusement center classes our Games and Entertainment product is able to consider. Other classes include children’s play centers, go-kart tracks, miniature golf, driving ranges and theatres.
USLI’s Games and Entertainment product offers many competitive advantages:
- Inland marine coverage for most classes
- Blanket additional insured available for entertainers
- Abuse and molestation coverage provided
- Liquor liability available in most states
- Assault or battery coverage
- Access to USLI’s Business Resource Center
With USLI’s speed and service, let us be your go-to market for escape rooms, amusement centers, entertainers and so much more!
As always, thank you for your support and business.
